Get in touch, whichever way suits you
You do not need to have a question ready. Plenty of people ring just to find out what we do. If you are calling for a relative, friend or neighbour, that is fine too.
By phone
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Someone from the Age UK team will answer. If the line is busy, leave your name and number and we will call you back.

The Age UK office in Dorchester is open on weekdays. We also hold drop-in appointments at community venues across the area, ask us for the nearest one.
A note on staying safe
We will never ask you for bank details, card numbers or cash, and we will never turn up unannounced. Every energy support worker carries Age UK identification. If you are ever unsure whether a call or visit is genuine, please put the phone down or close the door and ring us to check. We would much rather you did.
If you have no heating right now
Tell us straight away when you call and we will treat it as urgent. If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. If you feel unwell because of the cold, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
